Red River Promise
Welcome!

Congratulations on your decision to further your education!

The first step to be eligible for the Red River Promise is to complete the Pledge by February 1 of your senior year of high school. Students who do not meet the February 1 deadline will not be eligible to receive Red River Promise benefits such as scholarships, mentoring opportunities, and internships.

Graduates from participating high schools meeting eligibility criteria will receive a “last dollar” tuition-free scholarship for up to eight (8) semesters to partner college. This scholarship will cover any tuition gap between what classes cost and what Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid does not. To learn more about your eligibility criteria and ongoing programmatic supports, visit redriverpromise.org.

Note: All Red River Promise information and updates will be sent to the email you list on your Pledge form. If your contact information changes, let us know by emailing promise@nctc.edu.

The Red River Promise can only be used at a participating college or university; however, completing the Pledge does not commit you to attending a partner institution. For a full list of participating colleges and universities, visit redriverpromise.org.

The first step to become a Red River Scholar is to take the Pledge! By taking the Pledge, you are agreeing to take small actions that will position you to enroll in education after high school with confidence.
